PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: June 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Eleanor Boston ("Eleanor Boston," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you visit or make a purchase from our website. By using our website, you agree to the practices described below.
Eleanor Boston is operated by MD LDA LLC, which manages the data processing and advertising services described in this policy.
If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your personal information, please contact us at:
Eleanor Boston Email: support@eleanor-boston.com [Mailing address — to be added]
1) INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect information in the following ways:
Information you provide to us. When you place an order, create an account, subscribe to our newsletter, leave a review, or contact us, you may provide personal information such as your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number, and order details. Payment information is processed by our payment providers and is not stored on our servers.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website for informational purposes only — that is, without registering or otherwise providing information — your browser automatically transmits certain technical data to our servers (so-called "server log files") that is necessary to display the website to you, including:
- The page(s) you visit on our website
- Date and time of access
- Amount of data transferred
- The source or referring page from which you reached our website
- Browser type and version
- Operating system used
- IP address (where applicable, in anonymized form)
This data is used to ensure the stability, security, and functionality of our website. We do not combine it with other data or use it to personally identify you, except where we have a concrete indication of unlawful use of our website.
Security. To protect the transmission of personal information and other confidential content (such as orders and inquiries), this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the "https://" prefix and the lock symbol in your browser's address bar.
2) COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
To make our website useful and to enable certain functions, we use cookies on various pages. Cookies are small text files stored on your device.
Some cookies are deleted at the end of your browser session ("session cookies"). Others remain on your device and allow us or our partner companies to recognize your browser on a future visit ("persistent cookies"). Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a defined period, which varies by cookie. When cookies are set, they may collect and process information such as browser and location data and IP address values.
We use cookies, among other things, to simplify the ordering process — for example, by remembering the contents of your shopping cart for a later visit.
We may also work with advertising partners who help make our website more relevant to you. For this purpose, cookies from partner companies ("third-party cookies") may be stored on your device when you visit our website. Where we work with such partners, you are informed about the relevant cookies and the scope of information collected in the sections below.
You can configure your browser to notify you when cookies are set and to decide individually whether to accept them, or to block cookies in certain cases or generally. Each browser manages cookie settings differently; the help menu of your browser explains how to change these settings:
- Microsoft Edge: https://support.microsoft.com/microsoft-edge
- Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/kb/cookies-information-websites-store-on-your-computer
- Chrome: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647
- Safari: https://support.apple.com/guide/safari/manage-cookies-sfri11471/
Please note that if you do not accept cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.
3) CONTACT
When you contact us (for example, via a contact form or email), we collect personal information. The data collected through a contact form is shown in the respective form. This data is stored and used solely to respond to your request, to contact you, and for the associated technical administration.
If your contact request relates to a purchase or potential contract, we use the data to process that request. We delete this data once your request has been fully handled and the matter has been conclusively resolved, unless we are required to retain it under applicable tax, commercial, or other legal obligations.
4) CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS AND ORDER PROCESSING
We collect and process personal information that you provide when you open a customer account or place an order, in order to fulfill our contract with you. The data collected is shown in the relevant input forms.
You may delete your customer account at any time by sending a message to the contact address above. We store and use the information you provide to process your orders. After your order has been fully processed or your account has been deleted, your data will be retained only as required by applicable tax and commercial recordkeeping laws, and deleted once those periods expire — unless you have expressly consented to further use, or we are otherwise permitted by law to retain it (in which case we will inform you accordingly).
5) HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION (ORDER FULFILLMENT)
To fulfill your order, we share the personal information necessary for delivery with the shipping carrier handling your delivery. We share your payment information with the relevant payment processor only to the extent necessary to process your payment. Where specific payment service providers are used, we identify them in the relevant sections of this policy or at checkout.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We may "share" certain information with advertising and analytics partners for cross-context behavioral advertising, as described in Sections 9–11. You can opt out of this — see Section 12.
6) EMAIL MARKETING
6.1 Newsletter subscription. If you subscribe to our email newsletter, we will send you regular information about our offers. The only information required to send the newsletter is your email address; any additional information is voluntary and is used to address you personally.
We use a double opt-in process: after you sign up, we send a confirmation email and only begin sending newsletters once you confirm your subscription by clicking the link in that email. When you subscribe, we store your IP address as well as the date and time of registration, so that we can trace any potential misuse of your email address. The information collected at signup is used exclusively for the purpose of newsletter advertising.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter or by contacting us. After you unsubscribe, your email address is promptly removed from our distribution list, unless you have expressly consented to further use or we are otherwise permitted by law to retain it.
6.2 Marketing to existing customers. If you provided your email address when purchasing a product, we may send you offers for similar products to those you have already purchased. You may object to receiving these messages at any time, with effect for the future, by contacting us or using the unsubscribe link. Once we receive your objection, we will stop using your email address for these marketing messages. You will incur only basic transmission costs (if any) to object.
7) REVIEW REMINDERS
Where you have given your express consent during or after your order, we may use your email address to send you a one-time reminder to leave a review of your purchase. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us.
8) SOCIAL MEDIA LINKS
Our website may include links to our profiles on social networks such as Facebook, Instagram, and others.
These are implemented as simple HTML links, not as embedded plugins. This means that no connection to the social network's servers is established merely by visiting a page on our website. Only when you click such a link does a new browser window open and connect to the relevant social network, where you can interact with its features (after logging in, if necessary).
For information about how each network collects, processes, and uses data, and about your rights and privacy settings, please refer to the privacy policies of the respective providers:
- Meta (Facebook / Instagram): https://www.facebook.com/policy.php
- Instagram: https://help.instagram.com/155833707900388/
9) ONLINE ADVERTISING
9.1 Google Ads conversion tracking. This website uses Google Ads and, within it, conversion tracking from Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). We use Google Ads to promote our offers on external websites and to measure how effective our advertising is.
A conversion cookie is set when you click on a Google ad. These cookies typically expire after 30 days and are not used to personally identify you. If you visit certain pages on our website before the cookie expires, Google and we can recognize that you clicked the ad and were directed to that page. The information collected is used to generate conversion statistics, which tell us the total number of users who clicked our ad and reached a conversion page. We do not receive information that personally identifies individual users.
To opt out, you can disable Google's conversion tracking cookie in your browser settings or via Google's ad settings: https://adssettings.google.com/
9.2 Google Marketing Platform / DoubleClick. This website may use Google's display advertising tools (formerly "DoubleClick"). These use cookies to show relevant ads, to improve campaign reporting, and to prevent you from seeing the same ad repeatedly. A cookie ID is used to record which ads are shown in which browser. Google may use cookie IDs to record conversions related to ad requests — for example, when a user sees an ad and later makes a purchase. According to Google, these cookies do not contain personal information.
Because of these tools, your browser establishes a direct connection to Google's servers. We have no control over the scope or further use of the data Google collects through these tools. If you are logged into a Google account, Google may associate the visit with your account; even if you are not logged in or registered, Google may obtain and store your IP address.
You can object to this tracking by adjusting your Google ad settings (https://adssettings.google.com/), by visiting the Digital Advertising Alliance at https://www.aboutads.info/choices/, or by configuring your browser to block cookies. Further information on Google's privacy practices: https://policies.google.com/privacy
10) WEB ANALYTICS
Google Analytics. This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies — text files stored on your device — to help analyze how you use the website. The information generated about your use of this website (including a truncated IP address) is generally transmitted to and stored by Google.
This website uses Google Analytics with IP anonymization, which truncates your IP address within the member states of the EU and other parties to the EEA Agreement before transmission, so that no direct personal reference is possible. Only in exceptional cases is a full IP address transmitted to a Google server and truncated there. We use this analytics data to evaluate website usage, compile activity reports, and improve our website and marketing.
You can prevent cookies from being stored by adjusting your browser settings; however, some functions of this website may then be limited. You can also prevent Google from collecting and processing the data generated by the cookie (including your IP address) by installing the browser add-on available here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
This website may also use Google Analytics for cross-device analysis of visitor activity by means of a pseudonymous user ID. This user ID does not contain personal data and is not transmitted to Google as personal data. You can object to this collection at any time by disabling Google Analytics on all the systems you use.
Further information about Google Analytics: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/2838718
11) RETARGETING / REMARKETING
11.1 Meta (Facebook) Pixel. Where you give your express consent, this website uses the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms, Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA ("Meta"). This allows us to track the behavior of users after they have seen or clicked on one of our ads, in order to evaluate the effectiveness of our advertising for statistical and market-research purposes and to help optimize future campaigns.
The data is anonymous to us and does not allow us to identify you. However, the data is stored and processed by Meta, which may connect it to your profile and use it for its own advertising purposes in accordance with Meta's Data Policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/). A cookie may be stored on your device for these purposes. These processing operations only take place with your express consent.
Consent to the use of the Meta Pixel may only be given by users who are at least 13 years of age. If you are younger, please ask your parent or guardian for permission.
You can disable cookie-based advertising via your browser settings or through the Digital Advertising Alliance: https://www.aboutads.info/choices/
11.2 Google Ads Remarketing. This website uses Google Ads Remarketing, which we use to advertise our website in Google search results and on third-party websites. Google places a cookie in your browser that enables interest-based advertising using a pseudonymous cookie ID, based on the pages you have visited.
Further data processing only takes place if you have agreed to Google linking your web and app browsing history to your Google account and using information from your Google account to personalize ads. If you are logged into Google while visiting our website, Google may use your data together with Google Analytics data to create target-group lists for cross-device remarketing.
You can permanently disable interest-based advertising cookies via your Google ad settings (https://adssettings.google.com/) or the browser plug-in available here: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. You can also manage these settings via the Digital Advertising Alliance at https://www.aboutads.info/choices/
12) YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information under applicable U.S. state privacy laws (such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, and similar laws in other states). These may include:
- Right to know / access: the right to request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
- Right to delete: the right to request deletion of personal information we have collected, subject to certain exceptions (for example, where we must retain it to complete a transaction, comply with a legal obligation, or for security purposes).
- Right to correct: the right to request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing": the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information or its sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell your personal information for money, but our use of advertising and analytics cookies (Sections 9–11) may qualify as "sharing" under some state laws.
- Right to non-discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@eleanor-boston.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, where permitted by law.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant state regulator (for example, the California Privacy Protection Agency or your state Attorney General).
13) DO NOT SELL OR SHARE MY PERSONAL INFORMATION
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, our use of cookies and similar technologies for advertising and analytics (Sections 9–11) may be considered "sharing" or "sale" under certain U.S. state privacy laws.
To opt out, you can:
- Adjust the cookie/consent settings available on our website;
- Configure your browser to block cookies;
- Use the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out tool at https://www.aboutads.info/choices/;
- Where supported, enable a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser, which we will treat as a valid opt-out request; or
- Contact us at support@eleanor-boston.com.
14) CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
15) DATA RETENTION
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including to provide our services, complete transactions, and comply with our legal obligations (such as tax and commercial recordkeeping requirements). Once these purposes have been met and any applicable retention periods have expired, the corresponding data is routinely deleted, unless we have a continued legitimate basis to retain it.
16) CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
17) CONTACT US
